Watersports
Cascading waterfalls that glisten invitingly in the sunlight link two spectacular swimming pools. Watersports facilities at Anassa are the best in Cyprus. The hotel has its own PADI Five Star Gold Palm diving centre with two 300hp custom-built dive boats which provide rapid transfers to the superb reefs, drop-offs and underwater caves of the Akamas marine reserve. A fleet of 15 powerboats (up to 125 hp) is also available for self-drive day-trips to the myriad of picturesque bays and lagoons of the Akamas peninsula, with the hotel’s watersports centre offering Royal Yachting Association boat driving licences from Spring 2000. Sailing equipment includes two lasers, an Optimist and a selection of Dart and Hobiecat catamarans. Among other watersports available are parasailing, bananas / tubes, wakeboarding, canoeing, windsurfing and jetskiing. In addition rock-climbing and hill-trekking activities are operated during Winter months.
Golf
There are two 18-hole championship golf courses nearby. Tsada Golf Club is approximately 30 minutes’ drive in the direction of Pafos and Secret Valley Golf Club approximately one hour’s drive in the direction of Limassol. Our front office and concierge staff can arrange tee-times.
Tennis
There are two tennis courts available. We offer clinics and private lessons and if you are looking for a match, our tennis pro will be happy to find you a suitable opponent. Tennis rackets and balls could be obtained by the front desk. Please call our Fitness and Tennis Instructor for further information.
Fitness and Spa
A fitness room and an indoor Squash Court are available and free of charge for all hotel guests. Should you require a fitness assessment or instruction in the use of equipment, please make an appointment to see our qualified gym instructor who is pleased to help you. After a workout, or anytime, treat yourself to a relaxing massage, an aromatherapy or reflexology session with one of our licensed massage therapists. In addition, we have a full range of treatments and activities to enable you to maintain or reach full fitness and relaxation.
Children's Activities
Committed to providing the entire family with premium resort experience, Anassa offers a comprehensive children’s programme. Offered daily, children ages 4-11 can join the “Smiling Dolphin Kiddie Club” for a full schedule of games, a variety of arts and crafts. Our animator will ensure that your child has a memorable day in our “Kiddie Club”.
Weddings
At the centre of Anassa's traditionally recreated village square there is a peaceful Byzantine chapel. Surrounded by lavender bordered paths and scarlet bougainvillaea, it is the perfect backdrop for the wedding of your dreams. Fine food, attentive, but discreet service and our attention to detail will ensure the big day goes smoothly.
